Snails may not seem like an obvious choice of pet at first but they are surprisingly curious pets. If held by a patient person they will retract from their shells and peer around with long eyes!
We were given the giant that is Eric M last year. He is an African Land Snail and he can normally be found hanging out with his smaller tank-mates eating lettuce and leaving slime trails up the glass. He loves all the greens we feed him. Snails like environments that are damp and soggy! So we spray the tank daily with warm water to keep Eric Happy!
